In tradition of the Edryan Scandal, we bring you the Joga Scandal! This is kinda late, but it's better late than never! Here's a video of Joga demonstrating his vocal prowess at work. He's a call center agent.

We're Officially 4-1D!!

Just this May 14, 2008, the RC3-1D pips have crowded the campus grounds to take part in the fourth year enrollment. Through text messages (both Smart & Globe users), the class was notified of the said schedule. Adrian & Gary (Smart users) were not aware of the schedule so they were thankful for the text message.

After paying The Communicator pub fee, signing the student council sheet, and being encoded, they proceeded to the Main to settle their accounts. Most of whom, after certain attempts, have been able to pay easily through their connections (I won't tell, haha).

And so, now, the class of BBrC159 is officially this year's BBrC Fourth Year Section 1, or BBrC IV-1D. Congratulations guys! See you on June 9.

Yes, tapos na nga ang third year life natin, at next school year, officially fourth year na tayo. Lahat ng nakakausap ko, hindi makapaniwala na fourth year na tayo. Ambilis nga naman hindi ba, parang kahapon lang first year pa tayo... May nagmature ba saten? Haha, parang wala, mejo lang... hehe. Anjan pa rin ang kulitan, tawanan, asaran, ingay, away at marami pang emosyong kaakibat na ng pagiging RC3-1, na ngayon ay magiging RC4-1 na...

Ang huling pagsubok nga natin para sa taong ito ay ang thesis, na tinuldukan na nga nitong April 1 at 2. Nakakakaba sa umpisa, ngunit ayon naman sa karamihan, hindi ka na kakabahan sa mismong mock defense dahil puro recommendation naman ang ibibigay nila. Maraming naka-uno at 1.5, at ang pinakamababang nabigay ay dos. May mga nag-iba ng anggulo, may naretain, at may mag-iiba ng topic. Gayunpaman, tapos na ang lahat, at makakapagpahinga na rin.

Nako ha, hindi ako mxado makarelate nung una sa text message kasi naman buong klase and inadres, pero may konting clue galing dito kay Gary... Tama kaya sya? Abangan ang susunod na kabanata...

Anyway, bukas may mga papasok pa sa skul dahil magbibigay ng evaluation sheet ng grupo nila para sa thesis... At, good luck nga pala sa mga kabrad nating magsa-summer class ngayong bakasyon, sina Eca, Ronald, Heidi, atbp. na hindi ko alam...

Nga pala, nagspark ako ng 'sumkinda away' nitong nakaraan lang dahil sa pagpost ko ng reply ni daren kay DAMAGED sa friendster account ng klase.. Tignan nyo na lang.. Haha ang kulit ko daw kase bat ko pa pinost sa friendster ni DAMAGED yung reply ni daren, ayun tuloy pumutok ang butsi.. hehe Kakatawa naman yung mga naging reply nung iba nating klasmeyt... At, nga pala! Tignan nyo rin yung lumang comment bago yung kina Daren at DAMAGED, dahil may isang nagngangalang ZACK na nagcomment at nagpahiwatig ng pagnanasa nya sa kabaro nating si Edryan.. Haha basahin nyo kakatawa... At nung kinwento ko nga pala yun sa ilan sa ating mga kaklase, ayon kay Mart ay isa daw sa klase natin ang gumawa nun.. Hmm.. Tama kaya sya? Nako pag tinignan nyo ung friendster nung zack na yun eh tayo lang at si Kuya Jae ang friend nya. Eh sinu-sino lang ba sa ten ang close kay Kuya Jaerold na ngayon ay graduate na? Hmm... Somekinda clues...

Heto rin palang si Jheng eh kasama sa A Big Show ni Ogie Alcasid na ipapalabas sa GMA-7, nag-taping sya kahapon.. ayun... hehe

PUP College of Communication awarded LEVEL III Accreditation Status

After almost two years of hard work and preparation, the PUP College of Communication has finally reached the top as it bagged the AACCUP Level III Accreditation Status yesterday, March 7. The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) team of accreditors headed by Dr. Manuel Corpus gave the college one of the highest credit ratings in the history of the accrediting institution. Of the 77 programs accredited in PUP, COC is said to be one of the highest. Most importantly, the college has added another title besides Certified Outstanding College; it is now "The First Communication School in the Philippines to reach Level II Accreditation Status". Level III is described as a national level of accreditation, whereas Levels I and II are of college and university levels.

During yesterday's presentation which was the second phase of the Level III accreditation, the accreditors and even university officials, college deans, faculty, and guests were overwhelmed with the wonderful AVP of the college's history. And as the AVP on the college's remarkable achievements was shown, the college's faculty members were seen bursting into tears while watching. Truly, the college deserves to reach such recognition today.

Congratulations to PUP College of Communication for having its Bachelor in Broadcast Communication and Bachelor in Journalism programs accredited Level III (National) by AACCUP!

Long Live COC!! The First Communication School in the Philippines to Reach Level III Accreditation Status!

Sikreto ng COC

Mayroong nalamang sikreto ang klase tungkol sa COC. Well, mali kayo sa iniisip nyo. Hindi ito tungkol sa pagkakatanggal ni Prof. Harold Palad sa kolehiyo noong isang linggo dahil sa isyung sexual harassment. At lalong di rin ito tungkol sa kung sinu-sino ang may latest isyu sa klase. Ito ay tungkol sa sinasabi ng ating bagong propesor sa RTVF Production na si Maam Ruby Gapasin. Noon daw kasing tinanong sila ng mga taga-DOKYU ng ABC-5 kung ano daw ba ang sikreto ng PUP at magagaling. Alam nyo ba kung ano ang walang dalawang-isip at agad na isinagot ni Maam Ruby? "Pinababayaan namen," sagot nya. Hahaha! At ang sinagot ng mga ito ay, "Kaya pala, kasi pinababayaan din namin yung mga staff namin dito." Kung titingnan mo, ang ibig sabihin rito ay malaya kasi tayong mga PUPian pagdating sa mga ganitong bagay dahil na rin sa state university tayo. Ang ibang estudyante sa ibang unibersidad, hindi nabibigyan ng ganitong oportunidad dahil pinagbabawalan ng administrasyon nila. Imagine, bago ka makapagshoot o kaya ay makita sa TV o sumali sa ganitong uri ng contest eh kailangan pa ng sandamakmak na papeles na aasikasuhin sa skwela. Kaya hayun, naba-block ang creativity nila.

Anyway, due to persistent demand, meron tayong mga bagong blind items, na sure na sure akong alam nyo na... pero di alam ng iba. hehe..

1. Sino itong lalaking ito na nag-flylaloo na rin with colors sa engrandeng paglabas nya? At ang bali-balita, isang first year ang kanyang kadaupang-palad ngayon?
2. Sino naman itong sinasabing 'mas lumanding' baklita dahil sa napaka-halatang pagka-crush nya umano sa talent nila sa short film? At, denial stage pa ito.
3. Merong kumakalat ngayong isang tsismis na isang lalaki mula sa RC3-3 na may sex video umano sa Yahoo groups.
4. At, sino itong bagong loveteam sa klase na tinatalo ang mga alaga kong sina Hazel at Bibat? At kung i-congratulate ng lahat ay sa lalaki lang at hindi sa babae? Ano ba yan, harsh... hehe
5. Hulaan nyo kung sino ang dalawang lalaking ito na magkasunod na linggong umabsent dahil sa mga sakit nilang: Pigsa at LBM!!! hehe
